Houda Point

Houda Point, a.k.a. “Camel Rock”, is a paradise for surfers, beach goers, birders and painters alike. Can you see the two humps on Camel Rock? Surfers flock here during low tide swells, but the rock is also home to the largest breeding colony of Leach’s petrel on the north coast. Other birds that breed here include the pigeon guillemot, western gull, pelagic cormorant, and the black oyster catcher. This park offers plenty of parking, a flat grassy area on the bluff, and three maintained trails around the bluff and down to the beach. This property is owned and maintained by Trinidad Coastal Land Trust.
